Corporation Counsel Slanders Local Business Owner

In a story this week featured in the Fall River Herald News, Corporation Counsel Arthur Frank is quoted talking about the closure of Fall River's Giorgio's restaurant.

The city's health inspectors shut the place down as the result of a lack of hot water -- clearly a violation that needs to be dealt with. But what does this have to do with the city's Corporation Counsel?
"Corporation Counsel Arthur D. Frank Jr. said he understood there might have been problems with payment of utility bills, but that could not be confirmed."
If it cannot be confirmed -- then why are you telling the Herald News? That's an incredibly slanderous thing to say about a business -- and provides thousands of dollars of bad publicity during a time when all establishments in Fall River are struggling. Basically, Arthur "Too Much Grecian Formula" Frank is calling George Karusos a dead beat -- and you can bet there's a political reason as to why.
